S’échapper

Another breathtakingly beautiful day here in Dayton.  The bike ride in to work was perfect – clear skies, cool and calm.  Earlier I walked a couple of vendors over to another building on campus and as I admired the incredible blue sky on my way back to my office my eye (and subconscious) were drawn to this image.  I don’t think it takes much effort to connect my thoughts.

  1. I find when I’m on my bicycle, I pay more attention to alternative paths, whether or not they are compatible with my immediate form of locomotion. Fire escapes are a favorite, along with old steps that have lost their reason for being in neighborhoods that may yet rediscover theirs.
