Légumes Grillés

A rather dreary Monday here in Dayton with cloudy skies and a constant rain.  That said, it follows an excellent weekend and we’re looking forward to a decent week for the most part.  Yesterday’s post on our garlic crop provided the inspiration for a terrific dinner last night.  Pan-roasted veggies, pasta and a surprisingly delicious reduction sauce of inexpensive (store bought (shudder) sauce with low sugar and minimal additives) and my ever present baguettes.  Two whole heads of garlic, olive oil, plenty of lemon zest and voilà ! I should have worn my new toque blanche !
