Galettes de la mûre

Still passing time in the kitchen as I wait for a warm-up so I can get back on the bike.  These tasty treats use homemade blackberry jam my sister-in-law made, some thinly sliced gala apples, a smattering of frozen berries and some flax seed .

  1. I love the look look of these. I think I could eat the whole thing with maybe a little nilla ice cream on the side or a dollop of whip cream. I think you would do well in the bakery business. You and Peggy have got this stuff down to perfection.

  2. Thanks! You know I’m thinking more and more about a boulangerie (French style bakery). I don’t think there is enough of a customer base where we live now but things change – we’ll see.
